NVDARemote is an application designed to remotely control a NVDA screen reader. As the client software, this app requires the setup of a separate NVDARemote server within your network.
Upon establishing the connection, NVDARemote allows users to utilize an external keyboard for input. This includes forwarding all keystrokes made on the external keyboard to the NVDARemote server, accommodating special keys such as Ctrl, Alt, Windows, Esc, F1-12, and more.
Please note that operating NVDARemote on the PC necessitates the use of an external keyboard. It's important to highlight that the text-to-speech output is influenced by the ringtone volume rather than the media volume. To control the TTS output effectively, ensure that the ringtone setting is enabled (lever located on the upper left side).
